I'm Back, I'm Back In The New York Mood

Last night I saw all the local NY teams pull out victories (Knicks don't count). There was all sorts of victories. We saw a well played game with the Mets, a slobber knocker between the hated rivals Yankess and the Red Sox, and the exciting battle that saw the (can't stand saying this) Rangers pull out the victory. I am glad, I'll be it the Rangers suck, because since when is Boston the new it town for sports?!?!?! I need to learn how to play baseball from the hated Red Sox? 27! Count it! That is a number that is held over the Red Sox heads by a crane. How did that 17-0 season go Beantown? Where are all the Celtics titles since Bird? Don't even get me started on the Bruins. So, Boston what say you? The next time I have to hear Joe Sport from Boston talk sports I guess maybe I should get my notebook out and take notes. Get the hell out of here! To me I don't believe that one city is the best when it comes to sports. Everybody has it's titles (yes, even the Royals). To me it is time we as sports fans stop this talk and just enjoy. Enjoy the goals, the points, the runs, and the tds! Sports can be debated until I turn purple in the face. What comes out of it? Opinions are like assholes, we all have one and we all think that everybody else's stinks. Just enjoy. When I watch the Mets, I get to feel like a child again. The only thing that has made me cry over the past few years is, well, sports. Some joy, some excitment, and some somber (see Mets colaspe via 2007). Sports are like a drug to me, I can o.d. on the Mets. When was the last time you didn't get chills on opening day when you heard two words uttered, Play Ball! Being a sports psycho, that stuff is better then any drug, cigarrete, or drink (maybe not tequilia). Who doesn't love all the trades at the deadline, the drafts, the fantasy sports, the big free agent signing? If sports are a passion then you understand exactlly. Well now I have decided to start a blog to give my opinions. I invite you to comment and chat. Isn't that what great sports are about. Now I will be leaving on a cruise tomorrow, so I will be back in two weeks. Hope to hear from you sports fans!
